It's easy to feel lonely in a place like Dubai. Being away from family
and friends, coupled with the fast-paced lifestyle of this city, make the importance of developing deep personal
relationships even more important. At Fellowship, we called this
“community” and believe that being connected as a church body is a key
part of the Christian walk. And while being together as one body on
Friday mornings is essential, the way to develop deep, authentic
relationships is through Small Groups.
These Small Groups are hosted in the homes of church attendees and led by volunteers who have a passion for God's Word and developing community. Our hope is that everyone at Fellowship would belong to a Small Group, a place where people “do life” together. This means supporting one another through change, whether it be a new job or a new baby. It means going through tough times and joyous times together. It's basically means being the “family” that most of us don't have here.
For more information about getting connected to a Small Group or if you are interested in becoming a Small Group leader, contact Scott Sanderson at 050.945.5069 or email Scott at flyingmick@mac.com.
