You've probably heard of the popular book entitled, "Men Are From Mars & Women Are From Venus." Perhaps being from different planets is a bit extreme, but the truth is that men and women are very different. And it's been that way since creation. The Bible says in Genesis 1:27, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." Being created different means that men and women have different needs, desires, roles...and the list goes on and on.
To help meet the specific needs of men, Fellowship has begun a Men's Ministry that allows men to gather in casual settings and connect to one another. Women usually don't have any problem forming deep relationships, but sometimes men find it challenging to go beyond conversations about football and work. By getting to know one another through small group or social settings, men can begin to dialogue on deeper matters such as what it looks like to be a godly husband, employee, or boss. Discussions that relate to everything men encounter, including topics that are not always talked about, but need to be. And naturally, there may also be some discussion of sport.
